The Mid Autumn Festival is based on a tale as old as time, dating all the way back to the Zhou Dynasty (1046 - 256 BC). The emphasis on worshipping the moon stems from the Chinese legend of Chang’e, a woman that was forced to drink her husband's immortality elixir to save it from the hands of thieves. As she flew to the moon, her heartbroken husband Houyi would leave her favorite snacks and fruits in their garden and look at the moon.
Fidu Properties joined in on the festivities celebrating the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival 2020.
The celebration included fun-filled photo sessions and the must-eat mooncakes. The popular dessert symbolizes the moon that lights our way to health, happiness, and prosperity, which the company wishes for all its employees.
